Secutech 2025 concludes with optimism and strong affirmation of growth

Taipei, 21 May 2025. Secutech 2025 brought together a vibrant network of innovators and industry leaders at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre in May, with concurrent Fire & Safety and Smart Building events.

Featuring 396 exhibitors from nine countries and regions, the fair showcased the latest advancements in security technology, AI integration, and IoT, with offerings ranging from disaster prevention and fire protection to intelligent management. The platform underscored the growing demand for integrated smart security solutions across diverse industries, attracting over 14,057 visitors from 44 countries and regions.

“Secutech has once again proven to be an invaluable platform for fostering innovation and collaboration across multiple sectors,” said Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch. “From critical infrastructure and transportation to healthcare, manufacturing, and real estate, the fair has helped bridge the gap between technology providers and end users. By showcasing cutting-edge solutions in smart security, IoT, and AI integration, Secutech continues to drive meaningful progress in safety, efficiency, and resilience across industries.”

Opening the event, Mr Huan-Zhang Xiao, Director General, National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior, remarked: “It is an honour to be part of Secutech 2025. I am inspired by the dedication of participants committed to fire safety, smart security, industrial safety, and environmental health. As we face escalating challenges from disaster risks and climate change, this fair serves as a crucial platform for driving innovation and international collaboration. Together, we aim to strengthen disaster resilience and pursue our shared vision of preserving lives, upgrading industries, and achieving net-zero carbon emissions.”

Reflecting strong market demand, Secutech 2025 featured diverse exhibitors from Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and the US. The fair brought together innovative start-ups and established leaders, highlighting advancements in surveillance automation, smart monitoring systems, biometric authentication devices, and ESG-aligned fire safety solutions. Across 14 specialised pavilions, leading brands such as Cheng Deh Fire Protection Industrial Corp, Life Support & Equipment, Network Optix, and Prefco-Johnson Tech Air Control showcased trends including AIoT integration, smart building applications, and advanced rescue systems.

Exhibitors were grateful for the opportunity to form meaningful partnerships and present solutions to tackle key industry challenges:

“Faced with the urgent need for innovation in night vision technology and the push for Taiwanese manufacturers to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, I collaborated with 20 ESG-focused partners to showcase solutions at Secutech. These offerings, ranging from fire safety to solar energy, help manufacturers improve ESG ratings and strengthen competitiveness. The fair has already proven valuable, connecting us with new clients and positioning us to meet the growing demand for ESG solutions.”

Mr Rex Cheng, CEO, Ping-An Fire Equipment Co Ltd, Taiwan (Organiser of ESG Pavilion)

“Returning for the third time, we established valuable connections with potential customers and partners, including government officials who provided insights into public sector challenges and opportunities. These interactions helped us identify new applications for our products, such as developing anti-fog filters for masks to enhance user experience. Secutech continues to be a vital platform for showcasing innovations and developing better solutions for our customers.”
Mr Robin Yang, President, Cam Lock Asia Pty Ltd, Taiwan

“The show provides valuable networking opportunities locally and internationally, connecting us with key industry players. Buyers are increasingly seeking cutting-edge, eco-friendly products that align with our offerings. This year, we’ve already engaged with 20 to 30 companies from Japan, Taiwan, and the US to promote our existing products while exploring how AI, IoT, and 5G can enhance them, such as by integrating safety monitoring into helmets.”
Mr Yuki Kishida, Leader of Project Planning & Development, KAGA SANGYO Co Ltd, Japan

Top visitor countries and regions included Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the US, with buyers benefitting from sourcing opportunities across vertical markets spanning AI applications, smart buildings, fire safety, healthcare, industrial safety, and more. Visitors shared their appreciation for the event’s diverse offerings:

“This is my second time attending Secutech, and it continues to be an excellent platform for discovering high-quality products and manufacturers. Brands like VIVOTEK and LILIN stand out for offering innovative solutions at competitive prices. I’ve discovered exciting products, including a thermal camera for hospitals that safeguards patient privacy. Last year’s connections led to successful collaborations, and I’m excited to finalise several projects this year.”
Mr Ibrahim Kocagoz, Engineering Solutions Director, PCS Security and Facility Services Ltd, Thailand

“The technical expertise of the engineers at the fair allowed for more specialised enquiries, particularly when it comes to understanding the latest industry advancements. I’ve noticed many new, compact security cameras with advanced AI video analytics, which is a significant advantage. We attend to source products for the Japanese market, where demand for security analytics is surging. I believe the security market has great potential this year and beyond.”
Mr Michael R. Bell, President & CEO, Inter-Tel Japan Inc, Japan

“My company specialises in fire and safety products, and I attended the show to source for fire extinguishers and protective equipment, as government regulations in Thailand mandate regular refills in factories and buildings. During the fair, I connected with several manufacturers and have already placed an order with one whose innovative solutions will enhance our offerings. With growing risks from natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, the insights and partnerships gained here will help us meet rising safety demands and better protect our clients.”
Mr Ekawat Timmas, Manager Director, Center Fire Medic Co Ltd, Thailand

Beyond the product displays, Secutech hosted 133 seminars offering in-depth insights into emerging trends and critical topics focused on smart security, fire safety, and disaster prevention. A highlight was the 2025 Asia Disaster Prevention Forum, where experts from Taiwan and the Philippines explored smart technologies for disaster resilience.
