Paessler new appointments Asia Pacific

Paessler, the monitoring experts for IT infrastructures and networks, has announced changes to its regional team to strengthen its Asia Pacific bench and accelerate its business growth across markets. Joining Paessler is Jim Lee as Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific, who will be responsible for channel sales management and building alliances. In addition, Tommy Lok has transitioned from Regional Manager of Technical Services to Director of Technical Services for Asia Pacific (APAC).

The new appointments come at a time when Paessler is on track to increase its presence and market share in the APAC region, providing digital transformation opportunities and solutions to the market. In addition to monitoring traditional IT environments, Paessler has been steadily expanding its services into telecommunications, government, education, healthcare and industrial vertical markets with a focus on Internet of Things (IoT) and operational technology (OT) convergence.

Jim Lee.

Jim Lee will help in driving investment and working with partners, distributors, and customers. With an impressive track record in business development and channel sales management, Jim’s key responsibilities include managing the technology alliance across APAC, managing channel sales in Japan and Korea, and helping new customers discover the capabilities of PRTG, which monitors the entire IT infrastructure.

His previous experience includes IoT in APAC (Asset Management, People Management), innovating business models for promising technologies through Software as a Service (SaaS)/ Robot as a Service (RaaS) and service robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and also the advertising sector.

Tommy Lok.

Tommy Lok has more than ten years of industry experience, spanning areas like managed service providers (MSPs), security, IT audit, and systems management products. With the expansion of his, role, which will be at a strategic level, Tommy will now provide technical counsel to the sales team and assist customers in achieving their goals in the governance and monitoring of digital transformation.

He will oversee Paessler’s PRTG Solution Architecture Design, PRTG Global Technical Support, PRTG Product Training, and PreSales in the APAC region. Tommy also serves as a subject matter expert in various IoT, OT, and data-related topics, including digital transformation, cloud computing, IT security, business analytics, digital and cyber forensics, and big data.
